Blog Hop time!

Hi everyone, have you been hopping along with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and Stampendous this week?  If not be sure to go back and check out each day as there are prizes to be won!

Today is my day and I was thrilled when
I saw what was sent to me from Stampendous!
If you know me at all you know that I love flowers and hydrangeas are one of my favorites!
I can see so many uses for this stamp and die.
Next on my to do will be some placemats and dishtowels :)

Today though I am sharing a card I created with it.
Now you know that I am not a colorer I am a paper piecer.
I stamped the image on white cardstock and subtly colored it in.
The pattern paper background is from Pebbles.

I mounted the image using some foam squares and then topped it off with a die

For your chance at the prize be sure to head on over to the Scrapbook Adhesives blog!

  1. Ooooh, so pretty! I remember how well you like hydrangeas. We have a snowball bush outside our house and the blooms are white (of course), so this card reminds me of that bush in bloom. The only sad thing about our snowball bush is it only blooms once a year and if it gets wiped out by a snowstorm or a big wind, that's it for the year. Grr...Hopefully we'll get a couple of weeks of enjoyment this year!

  3. the flowers are beautiful.
You don't always have to color everything.
I need to make more use of this technique.
Not coloring really makes things stand out.
    Wonderful card.
    thanks for sharing.

  5. I'm with you I like the hydrangeas ... I was excited to see this stamp set as I need them for a project I'm working on ( one of those UFO I pulled out for some odd reason yesterday) ... I'd been thinking about getting silk flowers and decided yesterday before I saw the stamp set that maybe I could just find a stamp and fussy cut some... I had looked for a stamp but didn't find one came home to hop AND Stampendous saved the day !!
Okay so I guess you know in my round about way I like your card ...
