Same basic sketch 2 different looks using a gingham stamp

I am up on the Unity Blog with some more of my favorites.... can you say gingham?  I'm a sucker for gingham, ledger, lines.... so some of these stamps I had when Unity had them in wooden backed ones.  I have since replaced them with rubber but still love them.

Today I am showcasing Gurnsey Gingham along with some other fun stamps.

First up, red gingham... well I had to use my You Bing Me Joy Stamp set - I love cherries so this stamp set was a must have.   I paper pieced them with some papers from the Bright Side collection by Fancy Pants.

I did some real and faux stitching with the Time to Be Happy Again stamp.

For my second card, I did a bit more layering and added the Vintage Ledger as a background. I wanted a different look so I stamped the Gurnsey Gingham in blue, which I thought would work well with lemons so I used the Live half FULL stamp set.  Again, adding Bright Side Papers and faux stitching from the Time to Be Happy Again stamp set.

  2. Gingham-lover here, too, Laurel, and I LOVE what you did with it on these cards! Pinning them both - thanks for sharing them with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
