So berry sweet Sketchy Saturday with Echo Park Paper

Hi everyone... has spring started for you yet?!  Seriously... I'm still waiting for ours.  Oh well, I can dream about my strawberry patch ;)

It is time for another Sketch Saturday and today I have used some Echo Park Paper and paired it up with the Berry Sweet Stamp set and Confetti Cuts by Reverse Confetti.

Once again, trying to create a homespun feel... (love that gingham paper) so I used my chicken wire die.  I die cut and stitched the strawberries.  One of them is mounted on foam squares for some dimension.  The sweet die is from Echo Park as well.

Here is the sketch, I would love for you to play along>
When I saw this I knew immediately I wanted to use my Reverse Confetti Berry goodies!

  1. Absolutely charming, Laurel. I adore strawberries and this card with those beautiful berries makes me smile! The stitching adds a wonderful homespun feel to the card. Great job on this one. Um...spring can't decide if it wants to come. It'snowing right now, but earlier in the week we were in the 70s. Go figure. Enjoy your weekend. :)

  7. This is fabulous - love the gingham and all the stitching. Beautifully done!
Well, the last couple of days have felt like spring here, finally. But with the low temps lately and the recent snow storm, I went for a fantastic cross-country ski this morning! Trails won't last too much longer now that we are finally hitting some double digits during the day, but we may have another few decent days of skiing. My longest season yet. First ski Oct. 27, last ski for me April 22! Unless somebody convinces me to go out again in the next couple of days! Anyhow, hope spring is finally making an appearance out West!

I had time to write a blog post about my card after all. I've added the link. Can you disregard or delete my first entry?
