HAPPY HAUNTINGS
<WitchHat> (cut three), <WtchHt-s>, <WitchHat> (Layer 1), and <WitchHat>(Layer 1)(Shift) at 4 ¾"

1. Cut the listed shapes from your desired cardstock and/or patterned paper.
2. Layer two of the cuts together and trim the spiders from both cuts.
3. Trim the spider from the cut and attach black baker’s twine behind it. Attach the other end of the twine between the layers of the cuts at the top of the hat.
4. Add a round sentiment sticker to the right side of the cuts then layer the (Layer 1) and (Layer 1)(Shift) cuts on them. Add green jewels to the corners of the (Layer 1)(Shift) cut and the sentiment sticker.
5. Sew around the edges of the cuts with white thread, making sure to take in the end of the baker’s twine. Glue the third cut behind the others to create a card base.
6. Wrap two sentiment pennant stickers around two toothpicks and insert them behind the sentiment sticker.
7. Add green star stickers to the card front as shown.
Tammy Chenault DECORATING FOR HALLOWEEN is absolutely one of my favorite things to do! And if I can make the décor myself, all the better. Handmade décor is a fabulous way to have fun crafting and to decorate with personality. The Cricut® Happy Hauntings cartridge is a great, tried-and-true resource for your Halloween crafting – check out how Laurel Seabrook used it to make this darling witch’s hat (found on pages 28-29 of the October issue of Cricut Magazine®) and get inspired to make your own Halloween masterpieces! You’ll also want to visit cricut.com for more spooky-cool cartridges available right now, like A Frightful Affair and Movable Monsters.
Happy Halloween!
