Very Merry Pillow Box

I broke away from Halloween and Fall for a bit here and decided to make a Christmas project.  We go to school until December 21 this year so I won't have a lot of time to get ready so I am starting early!  I used the Very Merry Christmas digital collection by Echo Park, available at Jessica Sprague.  I cut the pillow box with my Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and the Poinsettia is cut with the Wrap it Up cartridge.  To assemble the box I used my Glue Lines®.  I used the XL Glue Dots®and Craft Glue Dots® to assemble the poinsettia.   I wrapped the box with some Wired Net Ribbon and held it and the poinsettia in place with the XXL Glue Dots®.  and added some Ivory Jute twine to finish it off. I really like the way this turned out.

I wrote this blog post while participating on the Glue Dots® design team.

  2. I can see why you like this pillow box, Laurel, it's very, very pretty! The textured ribbon is unique and the Poinsettia is lovely. Good luck getting all your holiday projects done. Although, knowing you, you'll manage just fine, I'm sure. *Ü*
