Everyday Moments
I decided to use Ms sketch, she is such a cutie and I haven't played yet.
I was determined to not make a Halloween card with those colors. So I challenged myself. This is what I came up with, not entirely happy with it, but hey not every card can be a favorite!
Pattern Paper: Scenic Route, Scarlet Lime
Cardstock: CTMH
Ribbon & Button; PTI
Cricut: Hannah Montana
A Scenic Christmas

On another note I saw on the CARDS magazine blog that this card was featured! How exciting!

Out of my Box
The last post was titled Over the Top as it was the name of the Award, well this one is called Out of My Box because this card is way out of my box! Not my normal style of card but this is what happens when you: want to do the JUGS challenge (3D flower) by using the Practical Scrappers Challenge (fun punches) and my own challenge to only use scraps! I think of my grandma when I look at this card, story here, and if she were still here I would give this card to her. The card does look kinda like mishmash but it does look better IRL. Most supplies are from CTMH.
Pattern Paper: CTMH, MME
Cardstock: CTMH
Stamps: CTMH, Unity, Scarlet Lime
Ink: CTMH
Punches: Martha Stewart, EK Success,

Risk going to far
I have had this sketch sitting on my desk since the 15th and even tried it a couple of times but it just didn't work for me. Well I had no post scheduled and since I was not going to be outdone by a sketch I tackled it again. This card went together easily and, although, it did look better in my head, it looks much better than anything else I tried with this sketch! LOL
The cloud is mounted on foam squares.
Pattern Paper: Pink Paislee, TPC
Stamps: Unity
Ink and fiber: CTMH
Ribbon & button: PTI
Halloween layout
Anyhow this is the sketch from The Scrappiest:
For my layout I did the sketch and then flipped it to incorporate all of the pics from last year. On the first page I made a photo collage in my photo editing program before printing it out. I had to incorporate as many of these little 'Boo Crew' as I could since Danica just loves them. "Aww they are so cute" she says everytime she sees the paper.
For Practical Scrappers the challenge this week is Fun Punches. I didn't use a lot of punches, but I did use a corner rounder and a border punch. I did some blogging today and thanks to Kim, I found out that this fits for the Cafe Mojo Challenge! Love when that happens.
Pattern Paper: Bo Bunny
Cardstock: CTMH
Stamps: CTMH, Unity
Punches: Corner Rounder (CTMH); Border punch (Martha Stewart)
Cricut: Paper Dolls Dress Up
Letter Stickers: American Crafts

Enjoy your OA day!
For my card I had already had this flower in mind last night but was too tired to do it. So when I did my blogging this morning, I found a few challenges to fit in a card! Love that! The flower is for the JUGS challenge (3D flower), the colors are for the Pile it On challenge this week - blue, yellow and green (I hardly ever use blue or yellow!). Finally, the CARDS blog has a stitching challenge out. I have had this floss forever, and this gives me a good excuse to try it!

Friend
This is the sketch from Clean and Simple:
For my card I incorporated the JUGS challenge - to make a 3D flower. I made it from a vintage dictionary and some circle punches. I also stamped the leaf on the dictionary pages. The background is created with CTMH (Damask Tile), and the ruffle is some ribbon I found at WalMart.
Cardstock: CTMH
Pattern Paper: October Afternoon, dictionary pages
Stamps: CTMH, PTI
Button: PTI
fiber: CTMH
Whoville
For my card I incorporated a few challenges. First the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge was to incorporate at least 3 geometric shapes - the sketch was perfect! The Our Creative Corner Challenge was to create a card based on a Holiday movie or book. I went with the Grinch, to me these fun colors and patterns remind me of the Grinch and Whoville. This tree from my Cricut Christmas Cheer was perfect for a Whoville tree! I stamped it with Spot On Background (CTMH), painted it with Shimmerz and then mounted with foam squares. For the background I cut strips of Holiday Red cardstock and sewed it on. Finally, it incorporates the SPCC: Finally Friday challenge - to emboss and layer. I embossed the white dots and I also dry embossed the music background on the white paper (like the Whos are singing around the tree in Whoville!). Love it when it all works together like that - all in an hour, no thinking, just went together! All supplies are from CTMH except the cricut, punch and the dot stamp (PTI). Oh and one more thing, I scented the card with Candy Cane Card Scent - yummy!
Friendship
We are sponsered this week by the Sherrod Studio. I just love this rose image, so pretty! and of course pretty much any quote stamp gets my vote!

Unity Friends with Flair Friday
This is my post for the Unity Friends with Flair Friday. These are always so much fun and give me a great excuse (as if I need one!) to play with my Unity stamps. To see all the participants start at Angela's blog and then hop away!
The sketch this week from Inspirational Card Sketches:
For my card, I flipped the sketch and I used a few (5 to be exact!) Unity Stamps. I love the music background stamp and the little owl! I incorporated the Embellish Magazine color challenge as well. Not a challenge for me at all - gray and pink - easy peesy! I used some Hero Arts rhinestones on the owls tummy who by the way is mounted on a foam square.
Pattern Paper: October Afternoon
Cardstock & Ink: CTMH
Stamps: Unity
Ribbon: PTI
I did another card for the Unity Friends with Flair Friday.
The sketch this week from Card Positioning Systems:
This is my card for the Friends with Flair Friday from Unity. I have so much fun using my Unity stamps! To see what everyone has created this week, start here at Angela's blog, then keep hopping. You may win some great goodies!
For my card I incorporated the Practical Scrappers challenge to use office supplies. I dug out my neglected tag die from Sizzix and stamped it with 2 background Unity stamps. This is also for the Caardvarks challenge - a tall card.
Pattern Paper: Pink Paislee, Papertrey Ink
Stamps: Unity (4 of them!) and Pink Paislee (butterfly)
Charm, Ink and fiber: CTMH
ribbon: stash
punch (postage): fiskars
Sizzix
mini paper clip: Tim Holtz
Boo
We are sponsered this week by Jazzy stamps. I LOVE this pumpkin stamp - he is just so darn cute! Pop on over to the Get Sketchy blog to see what everyone has done with him - so many great ideas! Play along, and you could win some Jazzy stamps!
For my card I also incorporated the Practical Scrappers challenge (yes again!) - office supplies - so not a challenge for me! I also used a fun Unity stamp for the 'bingo card'. Finally, it is also for the Pile it On Challenge this week - anything Halloween.
This paper from Close to My Heart is called Game On and I LOVE it! I have purchased the paper pack 3 times, can't get enough of it. I have also used some of the Game On Stickese. So fun!
Now for someone who is not really a Halloween girl, I sure made a lot of Halloween stuff this fall! but this card is my favorite, I just love it! I have the pumpkin on foam squares.

Life Unscripted
Every year us teachers can get our pictures taken if we want to. Most at our school don't. I always do as I then for sure have one picture of me taken a year! (I am the photographer so not in many pics) If the picture is ok, I use it otherwise I don't - we don't have to pay for them so why not. Now to only figure out what to do with the many wallets I get! I don't have that many friends! LOL
Stamps: CTMH, Hambly Arts
Rubons: Glitz
Chipboard buttons: Jenni Bowlin
Journalling spots: Little Yellow Bicycle
Sizzix: file folder

Are you tired of this Cosmo Cricket paper yet? I have to say I do like Cosmo Cricket but don't 'love' it. Well I did order this pack of paper because I liked it. Well I belong to 2 Scrapbooking Kit Clubs and they each have had this Cosmo Cricket paper as well. I have lots to use up! I do like how this layout turned out. I played with lots of new goodies including some Unity stamps.

Enjoy Your Day
The sketch this week from Clean and Simple:
For my card I incorporated the JUGS challenge which is a color challenge (Red and Aqua). This is also for the 365 Card Challenge - Sky Inspired. When I think of sky (think beautiful blue with a couple of clouds - not the dreary rainy sky we have today, LOL) I think of just having a nice day and it makes me happy. This card makes me happy - now not sure if it is because it is finally finished, or because I used some paper and ribbon I had in my stash for awhile, or the colors make me think of a nice spring or summer day - or all the above!
Pattern Paper: American Crafts, PTI
Cardstock: CTMH
Ribbon: stash
Stamp: Unity
Button: PTI
On the CARDS and C of the W blog
I was also featured on the Card of the Week blog for my Halloween goodie box. Yippee!
Funny thing, I am not a Halloween person at all. Never have been. But I have been challenged lately on my design teams to make cards and such for Halloween and I feel blessed that people like them!
Merry Christmas
Nina, one of the designers has a great prize up for grabs at Card Patterns, so come on over and play along!
My card is a simple one but I like it. I had to ink up one of my new PTI stamps - I have a thing for trees lately! This is also for the 365 Card Challenge to include a semi circle!
Cardstock: CTMH (Desert Sand, Garnet, Colonial White)
Stamp: PTI
Ink: CTMH (Garnet, Garden Green)
Slice: Holiday Words & Expressions
