November Scrap Shotz reveal
This is my second post for today (and it is a doozer!) be sure to scroll down for my Curtain Call post, such beautiful colors this week. I have had a very busy week with getting ready for this reveal as well as for an Online Crop that Scrap Shotz is having, whew! Anyhow on with the post.
Scrap Shotz reveal time! This month the kit is full of SEI Moonrise papers! Beautiful and so easy to work with!
For this layout I used this Design Dollies sketch:
Inside the kit are also some wood vener leaves. I stamped on them with a PTI text stamp, love it. There are also some metal filigree accents. I wanted to tone down the metal so it didn't stand out so much so I dry brushed it with acrylic paint and then bent it for some more texture. A CAS layout for me... have been battling not feeling well lately and not able to take sick days last week since we had Parent Teacher Interviews... thus a little low on the mojo and creativity. Because of the wood and paint on this it fits the Design Dollies Mixed Media challenge too.
Close up of the metal leaf.
For the next layout I used a Creative Scrappers sketch:
This is another simple layout. It fits The Pink Elephant Challenge - brown and orange.
The Scrap Shotz DT was given this sketch to work with:
My DT challenge for November is to include text in a project. For my layout I also used some digi paper from Gina K and printed it onto the back of some of the pattern paper. I also used the Tim Holtz Sizzix Die and cut some leaves from and old text book. The corrugated letters are Jillibean Soup and the others are October Afternoon.
I used another Design Dollies sketch:
Now a couple of cards with the scraps:
The sketch this week from Stamping 411
For this card I used my new PTI stamp set along with the Boughs set from Schlosser Designs.
For the Etsy Inspired Challenge this week I chose this print:
I have had this Unity stamp for awhile and finally inked it up!
I so loved working with this SEI kit! The colors are so beautiful! I will be entering these in the SEI October Challenge for sure!

Ho ho ho
This week is an easy one over at Wee Memories... anything goes! Now you have no excuse not to play! We are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and one winner will get a $10 Gift Certificate.
My dad cut a bunch of wooden blocks for me so I had to play. I have made enough halloween things (and I am not even a halloween fan, LOL) so I moved on to Christmas.
I used my cricut to cut the letters. The paper is American Crafts Merry Mint. This is for the Inktegrity challenge - anything goes; the Paper Pretties challenge - square; Digi Doodles challenge - anything goes.
Now be sure to head on over to the Wee Memories blog to see what everyone has done this week!

Witches Brew...
This is my second post for today, be sure to scroll for my Lindsay's Stamp Stuff post.
Twisted Thursday time at Shirley's 2 Girls and this week the twist is Trick or Treat.
For my project I used the Witches Brew image and sentiment. I also used the Spookies image for the tag.My friend always hosts a kids halloween party (I usually do to but this year it is at another child's house) so I made this for her. I will put in some chocolates and a Starbucks card. The template is The Pillow Box from The Cutting Cafe as is the Background paper. This is for the Corrosive Challenge - halloween; the Crafty Little Place challenge - spooky; the Wildflower Wednesday challenge - Halloween; the Color Chef challenge.

Some Brews for Halloween
For my post today I am again using the Vintage Halloween labels - can you tell I love this set! Just some more stuff for Danica's Halloween party. The paper is Pink Paislee. Oh and that is Ice Tea not Jack Daniels, hehehe. I reused some bottles for this, love that! This fits several challenges all centered around Halloween: Cupcake Inspirations; Simon Says; Crazy 4 Challenges; the Wildflower Wednesday; A Crafty Little Place; The Corrosive Challenge; Little Red Wagon.
Be sure to see what the rest of the design team has come up with this week.

Naughty or Nice
Over at Sparkle Creations our challenge this week is this photo:
I used this sketch from The Sweet Stop:
Mona has started a challenge as well and this is her first challenge at Come Play with Me
I used the cute Holiday Emily and paired her up with some Very Merry papers from October Afternoon. For her dress I colored it and then covered with sparkly fluff (can't remember where I got it from) so it looks like velour. All the white bits have been Smooched for some extra glitz. This is for The Crafty Pad challenge - Christmas; Pile it On - red, green, white and something soft.

Halloween
Happy Saturday!
I'm very excited about today because
Wee Memories has joined forces with Caring Hearts
for one giant blog hop!
Time for another Wee Memories challenge. Our Sponsor is Magnolia-licious Stamps, the prize is a $25 gift certificate and our theme is going to be ‘Oh So Cute Holiday’ (cards that are ‘cute’).
If you have arrived from Kim's blog you are on the right track. If not you want to start at the beginning at Vera's blog.
The challenge this week was to do something cute. I am still not over halloween yet and I had to use this cutie pie spider from the Kawaii Halloween set by JD Digi Designs at My Grafico. The body is on foam squares. This is also for the Stamp Something challenge - digi; the Pile it on Challenge - kids halloween; The Crazy Challenge - halloween; the Fab'N' Funky challenge; the My Time to Craft challenge and the Creative Cottage challenge; the Cupcake Inspiration challenge.
