Mindful Monday - Celebration

This week's word prompt is Celebration. I chose to document the Celebration of my dad's life that we had in November. My dad wore a lot of plaid so it was the perfect excuse to use some of these old plaid scraps.

Rustic Wedding Card

I was asked awhile ago to create a rustic themed wedding card with sunflowers and sage green. I didn’t have any sunflowers in my stash so I have kept my eyes peeled ( she doesn’t need the card until summer).

I came across the perfect ones in the Happy Watercolor Shop at ETSY. I printed them out, fussy cut, combined with some CTMH papers and SRM Stickers.

Inspired By Lemons

Oh the last challenge of February. Are you looking forward to a new month?

This challenge is a bright and cheery one and I loved the colors so I created some printables using them. and then used those in my hybrid cards.

(Actually this week they are the prize over at Inspired By)

The nice thing about printables is you can make them whatever size you want. I made a couple of them bigger in order to create these cards. 

I printed off a couple of the journal cards and one of the cut up sheets.

For this card I also used a stamp from PhotoPlay paper. The image is mounted on foam squares. 

For the next card I have had these sticker faces in my stash for years so it seemed like a good time to use one of them. The lemon is on foam squares.

Hybrid Scrapbooking?

So my favorite album is my Project Life album but it was very overwhelming. I am just getting back into scrapbooking after a few years off and have started small (come in my From Lens to Paper group and join us with simple scrapbooking). I have been working on my Project 52 and a gratitude/Mindful Monday album and love them.

Soooo I decided to play around to create a template and try my hand at Project Life hybrid. I will create the pages on my computer then just print the complete page off. The first few weeks of January I hadn't taken many pictures so as I catch up... more photos will appear 

So here are my first pages. Some of the stickers, journal cards and such are in my Etsy Shop.

This should be easy (ish) as I will use the same layout each week.

Hi everyone, happy Tuesday.  I hope you had a great weekend. It was a long weekend here.

Another Inspired By Nature today and like I said, it's all about hearts this month

This time no hearts for me. I went with the horse.  Gave me a good excuse to ink up this cute stamp.

Mindful Monday - Celebration

All supples are from CTMH except the hug die. I love that my grand daughter used to call my daughter 'hanty' 

I knew I had a lot to say so I decided to type out journaling. I create a text box the size I want it to be in Word then just type and print out. 

Inspired By Bedroom

The new Inspired By Challenge is up and I was inspired by the colors. I created the title page of my OLW album (my word is Change). All supplies are CTMH with a couple little tags from Elle's Studio

One Sip at a Time

I was playing around with my Coffee Printables from Etsy (on sale right now 👏🏻) and created a card with them. I mounted the cup on foam squares. The sentiment stamp is from MFT

Inspired By Nature - Strawberry

Hi everyone, welcome back to another Inspired By Nature and this month it is all about hearts. 

This week it is a strawberry and I was pretty literal with the inspiration I went with the strawberry - used my Silhouette and it took way too long as I am so rusty with it LOL

Mindful Monday - Friends

I documented about a special friendship I have with a long distance friend. We met in prenatal and were best friends. We moved away when our oldest was 7 and we haven't seen each other often in the last 20 years but when we do it's like we didn't skip a beat!
