Grateful Heart....

Happy Saturday!  I snuck in some crafty time before everyone starts arriving.  You see, every Saturday we look after our grand daughter.  Every Saturday my mom comes for a visit.  Almost every Saturday my BIL stops by and often my hubby's friend pops in.  Busy day in our household!

Anyways onto today's card.  I decided to create a CAS card (which, as I have said before.... often take me longer than my layered up and stitched ones!)

I used my new (which I love) stamp set from Right at Home stamp set Grateful Heart. I LOVE fall and anything related to it.  Thus I will be using this stamp set as much as I can before the onset of Christmas projects :)  
 

I have paired it up with some of my favorite dies.... that Reverse Confetti acorn - swoon and the Grateful Sentiment from Simon Says...

For added texture, I embossed the panel with a PTI embossing plate.

We wish you a Merry Christmas...

I had fun with my new stamp and die from The Stamps of Life (Christmastree2stamp)
 I paired it with the Merry Little Christmas and Merry Music papers from SU!

I die cut the tree using the Christmastree2stamp die out of three different papers.  I then stitched on the tree before mounting it on foam squares.   Of course... a vellum snowflake is added.

Nuts about you... goodie bag

I got my Simon Says package in the mail!  So many fall goodies to play with and I chose some of the Reverse Confetti ones to play with.

I used the Nuts About You (don't you love that squirrel?) and created a little tag.  The bag is from SRM Stickers (the embossed Chevron)

I used the Tall Tag Trio to tuck in behind the main tag just for some interest.

Hubby loves cashews so just for a little something I will tuck this into his truck one morning since I leave for work before he does.

Santa won't be coming...

I'm jumping back to Christmas again.... :)

This time I have used some My Mind's Papers once again and paired it with the Dear Santa stamp set from Technique Tuesday.

See that... I actually colored - albeit very little, LOL.  I taped off part of the sentiment stamp, inked it then removed the tape so that I could stamp the word Santa onto Santa himself.

Acorns, acorns and more acorns...

I love fall, pumpkins and acorns....so today I have another acorn card for you.

Once again I have used the Warm and Cozy collection from Pebbles.  I have used a few different dies, along with an older Technique Tuesday stamp.

The acorn die is from Casual Fridays,, the rectangle and 'grateful' dies are from Simon Says, the leaf die is from PTI, the small stamped acorns are from the Fall in Love stamp set by StudioL2E and finally the main sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.

Yay, fall is here!

So happy fall has finally arrived.... and our weather has cooled off.  It got me in the mood to play with some of my fall stamps and paper to create a couple of cards.

I used the Warm and Cozy collection by Pebbles and paired it up with Happy Harvest by Reverse Confetti.

Both cards were inspired by this week's inspiration photo:

First up I created this card.  I used the Happy Harvest stamp by Reverse Confetti and paired it with some of the die cuts from the Warm and Cozy collection to create a little cluster in the corner.  The frame die is from Simon Says

Adding some texture and interest with some stitching and of course staples ;)  The acorn is mounted on foam squares.

Next up, I just had to use the fox... so once again using the Rectangle Dies from Simon Says, I created a frame and then just mounted the fox on foam squares.

Making spirits bright...

I created another Christmas card.... while waiting (im)patiently ;)  for my new fall goodies from Simon Says to arrive.... which should be soon!

I used some Stampin' UP! papers from the summer along with some green from the new catalogue.
I then paired it up with this fun ornament stamp from Reverse Confetti.

There is something about a vellum snowflake.... The ornament is mounted on foam squares for dimension.

Time to start on Christmas cards....

So... from fall to winter ;)

I need to start on my Christmas cards so I played along with a couple of challenges.

I used some My Mind's Eye papers from last year :) I combined a few dies.  The frame is from Simon Says.  The Mitten die is from Reverse Confetti and the holiday is a PTI one.

I stitched some felt cuffs to the mittens.  I love the divine twine icicle mix, such a nice touch with a bit of sparkle.
