Inspired By... hot choclolate

The new Inspired By Challenge is up and I was once again pretty literal in my project.

I combined a Unity image with my CTMH goodies and came up with what I think is a good card to start the year. I am definitely excited for all good things to come in 2020. What about you?

I embossed the background with a snowflake embossing plate. I then stamped, paper pieced and mounted the image on foam squares. I added some silver gems for the buttons on her coat.

Finally, I stamped and cut apart the sentiment (January SOTM)

We would love to see what you create:

This is a neat card. I really like the images in your embossing folder. The variety of snowflakes is really interesting. The girl could be you if your hair was a wee bit longer (wink) and the sentiment is so positive and uplifting. Thanks for sharing! :)

I love the modern feel of your card Laurel and your clever incorporation of all of our recipe elements alongside your challenge prompt too. Your paper piecing works so well too. One of these days I will get time to play along with your challenge - the photos are always inspiring. Thanks for playing along with us at As You See It challenge!

What a great card! It is a great way to start the year! I like the interesting mix of classic elements such as the snowy embossed card panel against the more grunge-style washi and staples. Like Joanne, I'd like to play along with you again sometime - it's been ages but time is the thing. Thanks for finding the time to play along with us at As You See It.
