Thanks
Quick post today. I used some Crate Paper, my Cricut and some May Arts goodies (woven burlap and jute twine). The sentiment is cut out of some Bazzill cardstock.

Thankful For
I pulled out some of my Country Pumpkin Chowder by Jillibean Soup and the card base is Bazzill. The sentiment stamp is from Technique Tuesday Celebrate Fall. I cut out the leaf with my Silhoutte and then stitched around it. The Jute String is from May Arts.
I played along with a few challenges with this card. First up the colors came from The Cameo Spotlight.
I used Kimber's sketch over at 2 Peas:

Herd It's Your Birthday
This is my second post for today, please scroll down for my There She Goes sneak peek post.
This week our fun loving Crewmate Tracy Valure is challenging us to "bump up" our crafty creations with a little embossing. Pull out those embossing folders, impression plates, or heat guns and embossing powder and show us what you've got!
For my card I have used a couple of embossing plates from PTI along with some PTI stamps. I was totally inspired by these cards by Danielle, I changed up the sketch a smidge but her cards are what made me buy the stamps and chicken wire embossing plate! I have used some of the fabulous Bazzill cardstock along with some May Arts Jute twine.
Now be sure to head on over to the Ribbon Carousel blog to see what the rest of the design team has created for you today.

I'm Impressed
I just got some new Paper Smooches sets in the mail today and I had to play with them. Since I need to be doing DT stuff, I decided to go CAS and quick! I used the Squeaky Clean and Qwick Qwips along with some Bazzill Cardstock and some twine, both of which are available at the Ribbon Carousel. It is kind of hard to tell in the photo but I sprayed the card base with water and then scrunched it to make it wrinkled. I then put a clean or wrinkle free piece of cardstock over top and sewed it on. I was trying to make it look like the insert has been ironed.
I am playing along with the Paper Smooches Sparks sketch challenge:
And because this went together so quickly, about 8 minutes, I am entering it into the Craft Dash challenge as well.
