I used Balloon Kaylee from Some Odd Girl for the SOG challenge - Shaped cards. This is also for the Lawnscaping Challenge - any party themed project (the sentiment and banner are from Lawn Fawn Stamps) and the All Things Unity Challenge - texture (clouds are from the Sunny Happy Skies Unity set). The pattern papers are from Bella Blvd (older versions that I still love!). I have layered several of the elements for lots of dimension.

Because of You
My third post tonight, whew! I even did 5 report cards today too. Such a productive day. Love that!
Curtain Call time again.
I used this sketch from 365 Cards:
For my card I used all American Crafts supplies except for the Card stock that I embossed and the twine. Such a quick and easy card.
The Curtain Call Crew has samples to show you today, too, so make sure you stop by to see:
Christina MacLaren at Seaglass & Sentiments
Jean Martin at Stampin' Scrapper
Julie Lacey at Stamps & Taxes
Laurel Seabrook at Seabrook Designs
Makiko Jones at MakInk Studio
Monika Davis at M.A.D. Stamper
Piali Biswas at Touch of Creation
Silke Ledlow at My Life
Teresa Kline at Enjoy the VA Sunshine
and November Guest Designer, Marlene Peters at Hands On.
...then play along with us and post your Curtain Call Color Challenge creation using Mr. Linky back here at Stacey's Stamping Stage.

A few cards and several challenges!
This is my second post for today please scroll down to see my Twisted Thursday creation. I took a break from chores and went to play again.
I haven't played with the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger for awhile and this one is so not colors I normally work with that I had to challenge myself.
It also gave me a chance to dig into some CTMH paper and brads I had for awhile and not used, and to dust off the Cuttlebug Folders, hehehe! The stamps are from PTI.
The sketch challenge from Stamping 411:
The color combo from SPCC:
I decided to keep playing with the paper while I had it out. All supplies are from CTMH except the ribbon and button (PTI).
The sketch this week from Our Creative Corner: I haven't played there in awhile either, miss them!
Another challenge I haven't done in awhile is the Embellish challenge and since I was using the darker versions of these colors I decided to try this pastel version.
I used some of my favorite PTI paper along with this cutie Dog from Meljen's Designs. Meljen's has a challenge this week too, to use brown, teal and orange - I hope that this toned down version counts?! This is also for the Wildflower Wednesday challenge - polka dots.

Butterflies at the Cafe
The sketch this week from Limelight:
The Color Challenge from The Play Date Cafe:
I love the sketch and colors but sure had trouble making something from them. I think perhaps I have burn out from doing my report cards. Anyhow here is the first card I did, wasn't completely happy with it. This first card incorporates the Stamp Something challenge - happy.
So I was determined to make something I really liked. I am happy with this card. I used a Maya Road envelope which I thought I could slip a Gift Card into. The bow is made from an old sheet that I just ripped. Stamps are from Papertrey Ink and the butterfly is cut with the Indie Arts Cricut Cartridge and then embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. This one is also for the Caardvarks challenge - embossing.

You've been on my mind
Here is the Tuesday Trigger again (I love this photo - I wish I was there!)
As said for my earlier card, I attempted a seaside card last time, but it morphed into a baby card. This time I made the seaside card. I dug out some dusty and underused Cuttlebugs, as well as the Life's A Beach Cricut Cartridge. The sentiment is from PTI. It is hard to tell in the photo but I distressed the edges of the card. Oh and it is not evident in the photo but I did score 2 lines on the bottom of the card. Oh and since I sponged or inked the edges of the starfish this also fits the Just Buggin Challenge.

20 Cards and a reject.
As I said yesterday, Jason asked me to make him 20 cards for his staff. Of course he wanted 'manly' - ie no buttons, ribbon etc. Right away I thought of Kraft and Red. This is what I came up with. 20 cards in 1 hour, gotta like that! The Kraft and Stamp are from PTI, the pattern paper from CTMH. This is for the Stamp Something Challenge - anything holiday and the Our Creative Corner challenge - snowflakes.
This is a sketch from Unscripted Sketches a couple of weeks ago. I made the card immediately as it just came to me. I didn't post it as I submitted it to the Paper Crafts call, but it didn't get picked.
At first the sketch did stump me but then I had a vision and it all fell together for me.

Smile
Here is the sketch this week from The Scrappiest. Make sure you head over there to see what the design team did, they are fabulous! Make sure you play along with us for your chance to win a kit from Scrap Attack, it is so yummy check it out here! I also incorporated the Challenge this week from Practical Scrappers. We were to use punches, the basic ones like circle, star, heart. So this is what I came up with. I stamped some circle borders then punched them out and cut them in half. I used these to make the scallop border. I also used different sized circles to create the lollipop flowers that are so popular right now. Finally, as a little extra, I used my heart punch for the leaves - just cut them in half. To give the flowers and leaves a little more dimension, I ran them through my Cuttlebug first. I had lots of fun with this layout. Be sure to hop on over to Practical Scrappers to see what everyone else did, perhaps you will be inspired to pull out those unused punches!

American Crafts Layout and Card
The Creative Scrappers Sketch: I got this American Crafts Scrapbooking Kit from Peachy Cheap and it arrived Friday. I couldn't wait to use it! These papers suit these girls so much. Danica and her friend (both great Track athletes, which is how they met), are like 2 peas in a pod! Silly, full of energy, crafty and just plain ol' enjoy life kind of girls! Love that!
This is also for the One Little Word Challenge - beauty.

All Supplies on the layout are from the kit! ETA Danica took this picture herself of her and her friend, I love it!
The Sketch from Unscripted Sketches this week. I used the kit to make a card too. Of course there is still LOTS left! Everything is American Crafts except the stamp (CTMH).

This is my card for this weeks SCS sketch challenge. Paper: Chocolate, Heavenly Blue and White Daisy cardstock (CTMH)
Chocolate Rubons (CTMH)

Happy Birthday Poppy
This is Julee's sketch this week: I took in a few challenges with this card. Flourishes had a challenge to use Red and Green in a card, one of the Holiday Challenges on SCS is a 1, 2, 3 challenge - one piece of designer paper, 2 cardstocks, 3 punches and the only embellishment is to be ribbon (I hope the cuttlebug doesn't count and I didn't count white as a color.

Thinking of You Jammybella
The second challenge in tonight's Bella Bash was to create a card about someone that you are greatful for (besides spouse). I made this for my SIL who is one of my Best Friends. Her and I get along great, and she knows me so well. For my bday last year she got me some nice fuzzy slippers and housecoat because she knows I live in my jammies.
Also we are to say which embellishement we are greatful for. Hmmm I would have to say liquid glass and foam squares (if they count!) as I use them all the time! Next would be Dots!
I have fun flocked the teddy bear and the slippers.
Stamps: Jammybella (Stampingbella); Say it in Style and numerous floral stamps (CTMH)
Paper: Bubblegum, Baby pink, White Daisy cardstock (CTMH)
ribbon: unknown
dots: Stampingbella
fun flock: Stampingbella
liquid glass: CTMH
