Fudgesicles... yes please

I am up on the Pattern Happy blog today.

I decided to use the Coolest Ever die and create fudgesicles rather than popsicles.... can't pass up anything chocolate.

My card is quick and easy, but right now so many things on the agenda and time is of the essence :)

Hello Summer....

Oh my, it is hot here!  We went from cold rainy days to hot summer - in the thirties.  Inspired me to create this card (and then... I made myself a lemon matcha frappucino ;) )

I am up on the AFFB blog today.

I combined a number of stamps (SU!, Unity and MFT), of course the button is from A Flair For Buttons

Here is some inspiration for you...

Great Grandma with Felicity Jane and Technque Tuesday

yay, another layout for Scrappy Sunday.  I didn't think I would get one done as my printer was not cooperating with me today.

Anyways, I used my Brie Collection from Felicity Jane to scrap these photos... which I LOVE.  So happy I captured this moment.  My grand daughter is very lucky to have so many people that love her and she gets to spend a lot of time with my parents.

The sentiment from the Grandma Blessings Stamp set by Technique Tuesday was perfect.  I love this stamp set, and will be using it again shortly!  I used some of the puffy letters from Felicity Jane to add the word great.

Sketchy Saturday with Echo Park and Honey Bee Stamps

Time for another Sketchy Saturday.

I just received this fun Honey Bee stamp set (Shine On) and had to play with it.  I paired it up with some Echo Park paper (Fashionista)

The stamp and paper work well together don't you think?  The 'you' die is from PTI.

I would love to see your take on the sketch, I think I may even do another.... :)

Inspired By... garden snail

It is time for another Inspired By Challenge and I love this one because I love snails :)

I pulled out the snail from the photo and went with a snail mail theme and used a few different goodies from my stash.

The papers (Forever My Love)  and the #happy mail (Mouse Mail) sentiment are from Reverse Confetti.  To create the circle background, I used the Repeating Circles die from Simon Says. I then started adding my goodies.

I used the MFT mailbox die for the mailbox.  The Sending sentiment is from Simon Says (Sending and Wishing stamp set).  That cute little snail is from the Naturally You stamp set by Unity.

I love that I was able to combine so many different products from my stash... justifies the purchase ;)

Mindful Monday - grandpa

Welcome to another Mindful Monday.  What is Mindful Monday?  well... it is explained here, but in a nutshell, documenting simple things that just make us happy.  I think it is important to take the time to be mindful and just appreciate what we have, and the simple and amazing things that surround us in our daily lives.

This week's prompt is.. grandpa

What does that mean to you?  your grandpa, what is a special memory you have of your grandpa?  what is a special treasure you have that reminds you of your grandpa?

I have used some Crate Paper along with the Never Be Afraid KOTM from Unity for my pages (that subtle tree is a stamp as is the leaf - which I mounted on foam squares) The title is cut with my Silhouette.

I pretty much grew up without a grandpa.  My dad's dad died before I was born and my mom's dad died when I was 4.  I do have some vague memories of him but not many.

In comes grandpa Jack.  I had a grandpa Jack (my great grandpa) so I was quite happy to have another grandpa Jack.  Jason's (my hubby's) grandpa.  From the moment Jason and I started dating, grandpa Jack made me feel welcome, special and loved.

He loved kids and it showed.  He also loved hugs.  I came from a family that didn't really hug but grandpa Jack gave/took them whether you wanted to or not and I'm glad he did.  I still remember his hugs and wish that he was still here so that I could give him another.

I would love to see what the prompt means to you:

Sweet like you...

Hi everyone, I am here with a quick post for you.  I am busy all weekend being an announcer at the Quarter Horse show.  Very out of my box and even more than that.... it is making me want to ride again!  I haven't been on a horse since I was 15 (about 10 years ago 😜).  Anyways, it is fun but tiring.  Fun fact.... my riding instructor from way back then (about 40 years ago) is still riding and showing horses - she is 75!  So good to see her again!

Anyways onto my card.

I have a simple card for you today, but when I saw the challenge at City Crafter... I had to play.  Such a pretty picture and so farm housey.... just what I wish I had.

I have used the Squared Off Cover Panel from Reverse Confetti to add interest to the background.  I then used a tag die for the main image.

I of course had to use the Kitchen Love stamp set by Reverse Confetti as it fit perfectly with the theme.  I tucked in a stamped lemon filled bowl using the Bowl of Sunshine Stamp set by PTI - note: I fussy cut the flowers to go on the bowl.

Finally the sentiment is from the Kitchen Love stamp set.  I cut it apart and added a die cut sentiment and then the die cut napkins for the bottom (La-la-land)

Sketchy Saturday with Pebbles and Sunny Studio

Welcome to another Sketchy Saturday.  Here is this week's sketch:

For my card I have used the Patio Party collection by Pebbles - because... lemon ;)  Anyways.  I paired it up with the Vintage Jar stamp from Sunny Studio. I then added a bit more to the jar using some MFT stamps and dies.

The lemons are actually stickers, but I did mount some of them on foam squares.

Now I would love to see your take on the sketch:
