Inspired By.... Kissing Booth

The new Inspired By challenge is up and we have switched gears with a Valentine's Day inspiration but as you can see... I didn't go with the theme.

I pulled out the frames and created this home decor piece using the Magnolia Frame kit from CTMH.... only available for a few more hours.

Where are the magnolias? Well, I actually fussy cut the flowers from the Feels Like Home collection as they are more the feel of what I was going for. I used the Chipboard S (for Seabrook) and then cut the 'where our story begins' from a Jillibean Soup file on my Silhouette.  I covered the 'S' with bits and pieces from the Complements and Picture My Life cards that coordinate with the papers.

The 'home', leaves and metallic sprigs are all part of the kit.

Now here is the inspiration... can you see where I went with it? Now come on over and play!

Warm Winter Wishes

I am up on the A Flair For Buttons blog today with this fun card. Have you seen all of the coffee themed flair in the shop?!

I have used the Oh What Fun papers along with the cute Hostess stamp set from the current CTMH catalogue.

It's a Boy

I am heading to a baby shower tomorrow for someone who already has everything. I decided to create some scrapbook pages using the Cut Above Layout Kit (Baby Boy)  I have never used a layout kit before and was amazed! In a few hours I had ten pages done! These kits would be a great shower gift in themselves - so easy for the recipient to create as everything is done! Just have to add glue.  Anyways, I was very impressed.

I also have the Picture My Life (The Story Begins - boy) - which I thought I might need for the scrapbook pages but didn't!  I used the It's a Boy card to create, well this card. I trimmed it down to 3 3/4 X 5 and then used a paper from the Something Fierce pack as the background.

I cut the 'so sweet' out from another one of the cards and stapled on. I die cut some little pieces of clothing and since I had leftover stickers from the scrapbooking kit, I added them to the clothing.

The heart print paper at the bottom is from the I Heart Us paper pack

Sketchy Saturday with So Much Happy

Welcome to another Sketchy Saturday. This is another pretty simple sketch, which I like as it can then go any direction - as long as you can still see the sketch.

Anyways, I used the So Much Happy collection

I kept pretty much to the sketch. I layered some of the papers from the collection then mounted the plant from the Complements on foam circles.

The sentiment is from last catalog and I thought it went well with the plant. As an added touch, I tied some twine to the plant and added the smile sticker from the Complements.

I love this card from last week's sketch:

Now I would love to see your take on the sketch:

Hello Friend

I started out creating this card for the Addicted to CAS challenge (Friends) but I think I then got carried away and added too many layers...

Oh well.  I have used the So Much Happy collection to create this CAS (to me) card.

I used the Stitched Square dies to cut out a frame, which I then cut in half and added to the edges of the center panel for some interest.

I used a 'hello' die from last year but the friend sentiment was created using the Modern Typewriter alphabet (which is on SALE right now!)

I adhered the animal sticker from the Complements to some scrap paper then cut out and mounted on foam circles.

I then added a stamped sentiment from the Berry Best stamp set and finished it off with a puffy heart from the So Much Happy Puffy Stickers

Only a few days left for this.....

Inspired By... football party

The new Inspired By challenge is up.  I was inspired by the colors and I pulled out the chalkboard and the triangle shapes.

To create the chalkboard feel I embossed the balloon and sentiment with white on black. I then added some triangle flags on each side. To pull out the silver urn I then added some silver stars.

Here is the inspiration... come on over and play!

Say Cheese...

My grand daughter is such a ham... this is what we get most of the time when we ask her to smile 😒 However she is definitely a confident little one who is her own person and I wouldn't have it any other way! But of course... I had to scrap them.

I used the I Heart Us paper pack. Such bright fun colors... perfect for these photos I thought.

In the bottom corner I layered bits from the complements along with the Details I Love stamp set.
I cut the title with my Silhouette but the arrow tabs were cut with the Stitched Quilt Shapes

Some of those little strips of paper are from the I Heart Us Complements and some are just pieces that I cut.
