Scrap Shotz reveal

The January kit from Scrap Shotz is GORGEOUS!  This month the kit is made up of a lot of Kaiser Crafts After 5 pattern papers and elements, and it is sooooo much better IRL, I love it.  Even better is that it gave me a push to scrap some old photos that have been on my 'to do' list, including my wedding photos (we were married in 1992!)

This layout uses a sketch from Scrapbook Challenges and scrapped a photo of my Grandpa on my mom's side.  This photo was taken about 1940 and he died in 1973 when I was about 5, so it is nice to have this photo of him.  The letters for the title are from Jenni Bowlin and the journal tags are from 7 Gypsies.
 The DT was given this sketch to make a project with:

 I was inspired by the color palette from the Color Room last week:
This picture was taken of us on Christmas Day and I used a quote from MandaBean at the Sweet Shoppe.   The blooms are from Webster's Pages, the journaling spots are from Little Yellow Bicycle and Heidi Swapp both of which I have had in my stash for awhile.  Of course some May Arts twine too, I always have a bit of that!  This is also for the Frosted Designs challenge - use a quote.
The Design Team was challenged to use a bright color with this kit of neutrals.  I went with bright pink as I had this pink as part of my wedding.  I used an older Design Dollies sketch, made some rolled flowers and added some tulle and Kaiser Craft bling.  I LOVE this photo that Jason's uncle took of us at the wedding it is my favorite of all.

I used the Kaiser Craft After 5 Frame to scrap some photos of my wedding.  I love how this turned out!  The blooms are from Webster's Pages.  I used my Slice to cut out the main title 'me & you' and the chipboard pieces are from gcd and the stamps are from PTI.  This is for the Stampin Royalty challenge.  My challenge this month at the Scrap Shotz forum is to create some home decor with photos and scrapbooking supplies so this is what I did.

Now for some cards.  For this card I used the Clean & Simple Sunday Sketch:
I made a card for my dad using the Dadisms set from There She Goes.  I highlighted this saying as it is one my dad used a lot.  I love how these papers can be masculine as well as good for weddings.  I stamped the text background right over the pattern paper.  Of course all of my stuff fits the Loonie Stampers Challenge - stitching and the Mark's Finest Papers challenge - New;  Paper Sundaes challenge - new (paper); Creative Inspirations challenge (new)

Now for some cards using the scraps.  This one uses a PTI stamp set and is for the following challenges:  Papertake Weekly - thankful; CRAFT challenge - thank you; Cute Card Thursday - thank you; Phindy's Place - thank you;

Another PTI card.  I used the Along for the Ride stamp set and the cloud dies.  This is for the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge - celebrate something.

I had to make a Valentine card with a label I cut from the scraps.  Again some more PTI this time Heart Prints.

Finally, I had punched these circles out for a layout but didn't use them.  I didn't want to waste them so I made a quick and easy card using some Unity stamps.
