Crazy

I have really been struggling with my mojo lately.  I think it is because it is so gloomy outside and I have report cards in the back of my mind.  I think I should just get the report cards done so that I can concentrate on the fun stuff!

The challenge this week at the Cricut Circle blog is a sketch challenge:

I decided to play along and I wanted to scrap this photo of my dad.  Everything from The Boyfriend paper by Cosmo Cricket just works and sums up my dad quite well!  I used my Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to cut out the circle and the Nifty Fifties to cut out the record.  I also did this for The Paper Variety challenge - inspired by a movie - mine is Rebel Without a Cause

This looks great! I really love it.

Good luck with the report cards and I hope you have a fabulous end of the year! Only 14 days left for us - not that I'm counting or anything :) (I'm an elem library media specialist.)

I think you've scrapped this photo of your dad beautifully! :)

P/s: I've not been feeling extremely creative of late too...it's been really hot and humid where I live.

I really like this sketch layout by Jana that you have used. So you've still got mojo! just a little stress or blues because of weather and end of the year pressures.

Fabulous layout, Laurel. The picture is terrific and I love the journaling. Very well done.

Ahhhh, it's report card time again. The girls have today off from school...and they are finished on May 26th. I think it's so they can finish up data entry for the year. Good luck getting yours done! I vote for dig in, get em done and enjoy the rest of the year somewhat stress free. *Ü*
