Long Beach

My second post for today... I love summer ;)  Now since it is pouring rain, I am off to make some Blueberry muffins.

I played along with the sketch this week from The Scrappiest:

I actually went to the scraproom to make a card using fabric for the TSG challenge but this is what I ended up with, LOL!  When I looked at the Cosmo Cricket Odds & Ends papers I knew they would be perfect for this photo I have from when we went to Long Beach a few weeks ago.  I used a Coordinations background paper, love the woodgrain, a bit of CTMH cardstock but the other colored papers are Cosmo Cricket.  I also used what was left of a Maya Road envelope, some tags from Shabby Chic crafts, buttons from CTMH and the letters are Jillibean Soup.  I distressed the edges and sprayed misted some of the papers with CTMH Desert Sand ink and reinker.  I love notebook papers so I used the Vintage Notepad stamp from Market Street Stamps on the piece of kraft, although it is hard to see.  The Starfish are cut with the Cricut Life's a Beach and the clouds are from Going Places, I covered them with some fabric. I love all the texture happening on this muted layout.  This is also for the Cricut Circle challenge this week - to incorporate fabric - I have also included a bit of burlap.  Once again, I have used my faithful Glue Dots to adhere such items as the burlap, the die cuts and my buttons. This is also for the Jay Gees challenge:
