Saturday Coffee

I had this layout posted up on the There She Goes blog the other day and I thought I would share it with you here today.  I am very lucky to have a mom that comes over to visit us every Saturday morning and I am happy to have this documented.  I used my Nikki Sivils Messages collection along with the Daily Grind and Perk Up stamp sets from TSG.  I used my Cricut Art Philosophy to cut the banners at the top and my Plantin Schoolbook to cut the title, of which I used the negative space of it.

I was inspired by this sketch from Got Sketch:

Love your layout and the story it tells. You are lucky indeed! My parents live 17 hours away. When we are together, it is often for several days or a week or more at a time, so we make the best of it, but I know they long for the type of frequent visits that you describe here.
Fabulous layout - the little banners are perfect on there.
Cheers,
Shanna :)

Wow! What a beautiful layout, Laurel! This is my favorite Nikki line, and I love what you do with it. Such a gorgeous take on that sketch. And what a sweet tradition you have with your mom. You're lucky that she's so near. :)
