Grad Mini Album

I was up on the Echo Park blog the other day and I thought I would share here too.

Although I am not happy about the event, but my daughter went, my husband picked her up at 1am and she got home safely so all is good.  I did like the photos that were taken (I snuck some from her Facebook).  I knew the Here & Now collection by Echo Park would be perfect to make a little mini of the occasion.  My daughter really likes it and has it on display in her room.  A lot of the 'chalkboard' images were just cut from a piece of the pattern paper, how easy is that!

I used several My Favorite Things Stamps, someTrendy Twine and some Studio Calico veneer.  I had to grunge it up a bit with some ink splats - very teen feeling to me.  I left one page for her to write in her own thoughts about the event.

Now I also LOVE the solid paper in this collection and in this project I used the black piece to do some 'chalkboard' feeling embellishments.  I actually dug out some white embossing powder too - haven't used that in years.  I stamped some of the items in white, and embossed them.  Love how they turned out.

More of the embossing of the My Favorite Things stamps and love that Freckled Fawn clip.

And the back pages, including a button from A Flair for Buttons.
