Fancy Pants Rusted Sun

Today is the big reveal day over at Scrap Shotz.  Each designer was given a different pack of papers.  I was given the new Fancy Pants Rusted Sun Collection, along with some coordinating  rub ons and ribbon (I love the pom poms!),   I love these papers and they went perfectly with some photos I needed to scrap!

First I used this months sketch from Scrapbooking from Scratch:

I love this sketch (can you tell I like the clean lined simple sketches!).  These papers are just so yummy, the colors are so pretty, so me!  The background paper is Bazill and the button is a Basic Grey, Emporium button, everything else is from the Rusted Sun Collection.  You have got to go take a peek, yum!  I used my Cricut cartridge Sweet Treats to cut the triangles and the flowers and journaling spot were fussy cut.

A sketch from Pencil Lines:

For my layout, I cut the bathing suits from one of the pattern papers as well as the sun.  I stitched the sun down. The 'wave' is actually the backside of a border in the kit.

A sketch from Creative Scrappers:

This was really easy, the flowered paper is in the kit, I only added strips of Bazzill paper, cut out a 'wave' border from the border strip, did a bit of stamping and added the clear cut from the kit as well. Easy!

The sketch this week from Our Creative Corner.

I like how the Rusted Sun collection can also feel kind of 'fallish' like in this quilt card.   The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.  Of course this also fits the Shabby Tea Room challenge - squares.

Finally the sketch from Stamping 411,

The color challenge from Design Dollies:

I used scraps of paper on this one, and the yummy pompoms again.  The sentiment is from Unity.  This is also for the Stampin Bs challenge - a sun and encouraging sentiment.
