Fresh Goods Picnic basket

I took a break from my DT assignments... I am trying to get almost 3 weeks worth of stuff done and scheduled to post as the day after I am done work, we head out on holidays for over a week and this week I will be finishing up report cards and I have some exciting secret stuff I am working on in the crafting world so my schedule is very full!  I just needed to do something that was fun and for me (not that DT stuff isn't fun, I was just getting into a funk if you know what I mean)

Anyhow, this was a very quick and easy project.  I have been hoarding my Pebbles Fresh Goods since I first  got it last year so with summer starting (well at least by the calendar, not by our weather) I felt like finally breaking into it.  I was inspired by all the summer/picnic things I have been seeing lately.  I got the jars and the wooden basket at garage sales.  I didn't even have to basecoat the basket, I like the rustic wooden feel of it with this paper.  I just covered the rungs, created a flower with my Cricut Flower Shoppe Cartridge added a sticker to the handle and voila the basket was done.  I then took some Trendy Twine to decorate the jars and all was complete.  I think this would look great on a picnic table... if our rain ever stops!

A close up of the flower:

I was inspired by the picnic theme of the JUGS challenge:
