Winter Wishes

I took a break from fall and decided to create a Christmas card.  I used the Sleigh Ride collection from Crate Paper (yep, an oldie :) ) along with the Snow Way stamp by Unity.  The flag die is from LDRS Creative.  The gray background paper was a bit dark so I stitched a piece of vellum over the top of it.

I cut a tag from the pattern paper, punched a hole and added some Divine Twine.  I then mounted it on foam squares.

I played along with a few challenges (click on image to go to site).  The sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches:
I was inspired to create a winter card because of the colors in this photo from Pinspirational Challenges:

And I was inspired to make it cute (and for me it is a CAS card ;) )

Lovely card, Laurel. That snowman is adorable. Lots of fun elements. Clever thought to add the vellum to soften the dark background. Well done! Happy Friday.

That is definitely one of the cutest snowmen I have ever seen! I can't work out if you paper-pieced or coloured his sweet little hat and tie - either way, I ADORE the effect you achieved! Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week, Laurel!
