Gas Money

My oldest daughter just bought her first car:

She wants to use her tip money for her gas money and yesterday asked if I had a jar.  Do I have a jar, pffft! I knew just what I was going to do.  This morning I went into the scraproom, dug out my My Little Shoebox Destination papers and an old container and went to work doing some upcycling.

A close up of the label, the letters are from Doodlebug.

I cut the gas tank and the key with my Going Places Cricut Cartridge.

I hope she likes it!

This is fantastic. I bet she was impressed! Although that is a pretty impressive first car so maybe she is at that age that making an impression with paper is hard. BUT I Love It!!!!

Congrats to your daughter on her stylin' new car, and congrats to you on keeping your haircolor while she's out driving in it! Ü The gas money container is one of the cutest I've seen. Awesome job and I'll bet she is thrilled with it and you for creating it!

I bet she loved it, Laurel! It's a great gas money container. Using tips for petrol money is a great idea (I did it when I was younger and earning tips, and it works!).
