Bundle of Joy Diaper Cake

I was totally inspired by Tamara's diaper cake that she posted awhile back and decided to make one myself.  I too used the Echo Park Bundle of Joy to create mine.  The only difference is, I am sure, that my cake is 2 sided.  You see my friend just had twins, a boy and a girl.  I sewed the pattern paper to the May Arts wired Burlap ribbon then wrapped it around each 'cake' section.  I then, of course, wrapped and tied a bit of twine.  I then went to work with the additions.  I backed the stickers with cardstock (scraps), cut out, adhered to some lollipop sticks and then inserted here and there.  I used my Glue Dots® to adhere the bits and pieces together, they sure make things go together quickly and easily!

This is the girl side of the cake:

And the boy side:

I created this project while on the Glue Dots Design Team.

Wow, you did an awesome job on this cake. I think it's the first one I've ever seen that has two sides. And each one is impressive!!

I've seen lots of diaper cakes, but never with cuter papercrafting accents. Love 'em!
