For You Upcycled purse

I am up on the Jillibean Soup blog today with a fun project.  I really love how this one turned out and can't wait to use it!  I used the new Chilled Cucumber Soup Collection along with a little Jillibean Wooden Flag, to alter a thrift store purse.  The purse had hard sides so it was easy to adhere the paper to it using my Glue Lines.  I cut out the flowers with my Cricut Flower Shoppe cartridge and used my Glue Dots to assemble them.  Whenever I purchase an item that has the little chain, I keep them just for projects like this as I love the little added detail that it gives.  Don't you think it is a cute way to give a flower?

A close up:
And here is the purse before.

Now be sure to visit the Jillibean Soup Blog to see what the other Designers have created for you.

OMGosh, how I love this, Laurel! We did a Pinterest Workshop at the garden center recently that turned an old purse into a flower pot, but yours is soooooo much cuter. We just stuck flowers into the bag, but you!!! You totally transformed the bag into something beautiful first! Genius!

Adorable! What a wonderful idea! It would be a great way to give new life to a purse with a thin fabric lining that has ripped or worn out from too much usage. The outer part still looks good. So why not give the interior a different purpose?

And kudos to you, Lauren, for re-making the outside to go with your design!! That works for me too!
