This week's prompt is..dad
What does that mean to you? your dad, what is a special memory you have of your dad? what is a special treasure you have that reminds you of your dad?
I am lucky to still have both parents. My dad is 78 this year and has had a rough couple of years but just purchased a new camper so he is still going strong!
I have used the Cabin Fever by Simple Stories for my pages.
I love the beauty of nature and I think my dad instilled that in me. We did a lot of road trips (heading out camping usually) - including travelling the whole of Canada from one coast to another and I always remember (when I was awake.... I slept a lot in the vehicle... still do, LOL) my dad pointing out beautiful things - mountains, lakes, trees... etc.
We always had to camp where there was a lake because camping = fishing. I did a lot of fishing with my dad. Lots of great memories!
I am also playing at:
Would love to see your take on this week's prompt

Awesome post! I wonder how many people associate their dads with camping. I sure do! He took my girlfriend and me hiking in the Sierra mountains with his Boy Scout troop. And there was fishing involved. When I think of my dad, I think of him in his glory in the middle of nature. What a happy thought. Thank you!
Wonderful page Laurel! Memories are so very precious and I love how you have captured them perfectly.
Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
