Get Sketchy and more

Time for another sketch challenge over at Get Sketchy and this week we are sponsored by Prima.

I used this weeks color challenge from The Play Date Cafe:

For my card I also incorporated the Fantabulous Cricut challenge - ribbon.  I cut the circles and letters from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.  Believe it or not, this type of messy sewing is hard for me.  I was a sewer long before I ever played with paper so of course we were always trying to make straight neat lines.  So now that I only sew on paper really, it is hard to get out of old habits, hehehe.

Now I decided to play along in some other challenges too.

The color inspiration from Off the Wall:

I got this Elle's Studio tag from Jessica Sprague on One Buck Wednesday - love that!  The snowman is from Squigglefly and I thought he went so well with this tag.  This is for the Squigglefly challenge - tag in non traditional colors - which I took to mean not red and green together; the CCEE challenge - snowman; the Little Red Wagon challenge - tag or bag;

Now here is a sneak peek at my exciting news, any guesses?

ETA - more exciting news... I was Shoe of the Week!

Love the concept of the HO HO Ho card and your execution of it and your snowman tag is too cute! Did you win all that MM stuff? I won some Toil and Trouble from them not too long ago and it is spectacular! Now I just have to wait a year to bring it out!
