Upcycled Denim on a Mixed Media project using Unity stamps

I am up on the Unity Blog today with another upcycled project.  This project was inspired by my youngest daughter, check out how by visiting the Unity Blog.

I used the Dream Big collection by Fancy Pants along with a few Unity Stamps.  The star die is from MFT.

My youngest daughter sets out on her newest adventure in a couple of months.... she is definitely leaving ordinary behind.

I love the road pattern paper, it was perfect for the theme I was going for.

I paper pieced then mounted the Angie Girl on foam squares for some dimension.  Of course some messy stitching is always a must for a mixed media project ;)

Love mixed media creations! Sometimes half the fun is scrounging through all the items in our inventories and then pulling the bits and pieces that reinforce the theme or for colors or for textures. This is a terrific combo. Best wishes to your youngest!
