To the beach...

Last summer when we were camping I saw a couple of chunks of wood that I knew would be perfect for an 'old' sign.  Tonight I went to work on one of them.  I didn't do much except a cleaning and a light whitewash as they were nice and weathered (and dirty).  I then used my Cricut to cut out the word (Plantin Schoolbook) and then the arrow (Going Places) and then just lightly sponged on some white paint then sanded.  Easy peesy and done in no time!

It is beautiful, it looks like the one you have to pay a lot of money to get from vintage store, love it!

Fun! I really like how it looks like the lettering has been on there for a long time. Great job.
