First Day of School Treats

I am feeling overwhelmed this week (and only the second day of school, hehehe... but lots of DT stuff which you will see in the next couple of days), thus I am visiting your blogs, just not able to comment on everything, once I get back into the groove I will!

Well today everyone is officially back at school!  Jaimee didn't start until today, Danica and I yesterday... of course Jaimee has been rubbing it in!  I made these little gift boxes for them for their first day since as a working mom I am not with them anymore :( on their first day.  I used the Cupcake Box template from The Cutting Cafe and filled it with Hershey Hugs and Kisses.  The Tag is made with the Jot it Down set along with The School Years.  This is for the American Crafts challenge (I used the Teen Paper), The Pink Elephant (who by the way is sponsored by The Cutting Cafe this week) and the Papertrey Paper Dolls challenge (the stamped sentiment is from PTI) - both have a back to school challenge.  I cut the lips from some of the AC pattern paper.

Laurel these are fantastic and we all understand we simply cannot comment sometimes. I am about down to once a week but it's just how it is right now. Beth

These are awesome little treat boxes, Laurel. As for being overwhelmed, don't worry about it. It happens to all of us. Me, too, lately! Take care.

What a sweet surprise for your girls - to make their day special even though you aren't "there" - they know they are loved. Nice work!
