You're My Cup of Tea

The sketch this week from Mercy:

I am so excited, I have been asked to be a Guest DT on Etsy Inspired for the month of March!  I am honored!  My first assignment was to use Fantasy Art of Maigan Lyn as inspiration.  She has some wonderful creations and I chose this one since it was the Opening of Alice in Wonderland yesterday - are you going to go see it?

I used the Sassy Studio Design image - Sassy Mad Hatter again as she fit this challenge perfectly.  I went for a whimsical feel and incorporated some Unity stamps as well.  I also included the Papertake Weekly Challenge - buttons, bows, brads and bling - I have a button, a bow and on the mushroom is a heart brad and the Frosted Designs challenge - a favorite technique - for me it is sewing on cards and paper piecing, the Crazy 4 Challenges - paper piecing and the Stamp Something Challenge - girly.  She is colored with copics and mounted on foam squares.

Now I would love to see what you create using the Etsy Challenge.

Congratulations, Laurel! Your card is a great interpretation of the inspiration piece.

Have a wonderful weekend! (nope, not planning to see the movie...it looks a little too "out there" for me, also, I don't get to go to movies anymore..LOL)
